Jamie Morris

Jamie is a Professor of Psychology at UVa. He received his PhD from Stony Brook University where he trained with EEG/ERP methodology with Nancy Squires. After graduation, he joined the Brain Imaging and Analysis Center at Duke University where he worked with Gregory McCarthy and Kevin Pelphrey. His work has been supported by a National Research Service Award, a Pathway to Independence Award from the NIMH, a Young Investigator Award from Cure Autism Now, and several research grants from the National Science Foundation. His research uses functional magnetic resonance imaging, event-related potential recordings, eye-tracking, molecular genetics, and behavioral methods to understand the biological basis of typical and atypical social behaviors. Jamie is currently serving as Associate Dean for Sciences.
